Josefina Gonzalez Obituary

Floydada - Josefina (Navarro) Gonzalez, age 72, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025 in Florida. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, on Friday, January 31, 2025 at the Moore-Rose Funeral Chapel in Floydada. A family visitation and prayer service will be conducted at 6:00PM on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at the funeral home. Service arrangements and interment at Floyd County Memorial Park are under the direction of the Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada.
Josefina was born in Mexico on March 19, 1952. Josefina enjoyed spending time with family and friends at her home in South Plains. She also enjoyed cooking and lending a helping hand where she could.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Gonzalez and son Jose Gonzalez, Jr.
She is survived by her children, Olga Chavarria and husband Jose Santos of Georgia, Fernando Gonzalez of Lubbock, Graciela Marcia of Florida, Norma Zapata and husband Octaviano of Florida and Julia Morales and husband Israel of Littlefield. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
