Mighty Joe Young that's how I came to remember his name. When he 1st started coming in my thought was he's a regular I better remember his name! And that was the first thing that came to mind. He definitely was young at heart and Joe made an impact on ALL of us over here at MOD PIZZA. This was his place to be on most Tuesdays, enjoying his custom made pizza, or on a rare occasion he'd come for salad. But mostly I believe Joe came for the company and conversations. He was always smiling and truly enjoyed connecting and talking about life. He brought a smile to all of our faces and we are going to miss him immensely. He sat in the same space probably 95% of the time and everytime I look over there I will now think of him. I appreciate that he chose us to bring into his life because he truly made a larger impact on ours. We love you Joe
By the way he never admitted to being 84! You'd never know it!

He'll always be a big part of our little Winton community. Truly a wonderful teacher. The Graduating Class of 1989 will always remember him.

I was at Frank Sparks when Joe was there. I remember going into the teachers' room many times and being greeted by his warm smile and hardy laugh. You always felt better around Joe.

I was a student at El Capitan middle school in Delhi when Mr. Blanc was a teacher working there. He was a softball coach and I remember he and his wife inviting the team to the Turlock Plunge and then to their home where they graciously served everyone dinner. A very nice man and a role model to everyone.
