Joseph Dennis Boyle
June 6, 1944 -June 30, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph Dennis "Joe" Boyle, who departed this life on June 30, 2025, at the age of 81.
Bom on June 6, 1944, at Ft. Bliss Army Base in El Paso, Texas, Joe was raised in Catasauqua, Pennsylvania, where he spent his early years building the values of family, hard work, and quiet strength that would define his life.
Joe proudly served his country as a U.S. Navy veteran, carrying that spirit of service into every chapter of his life. For over a decade, he owned and operated his own company in New Jersey, earning the respect of many with his honesty, work ethic, and dedication. Later, he returned to New Mexico, Where he continued serving the community as a volunteer paramedic and firefighter for two local departments, Cloudcroft and James Canyon.
Joe's love for others extended beyond emergency calls. He was deeply involved in local outreach, offering his time and heart to Meals on Wheels, senior centers, Senior Circle program, vital sign clinics and the community food bank. No task was too small if it helped someone else.
He was known and loved for his storytelling, kindness, and his knack for fixing anything. Joe found joy in cooking and baking, in sharing meals and memories, and in blessing with his gifts. He was an avid HAM radio operator, a techie at heart, a lover of classic cars, and a passionate supporter of Louder with Crowder and President Donald Trump - proudly saying, "everything he has done for the county has made a huge positive impact."
Joe had many interests, but his greatest transformation came when he found Jesus again later in life and gave his heart fully to the Lord. For this, his daughter will be forever grateful.
Joe is survived by his loving daughter Shannon (Boyle) Taylor and her husband Greg Taylor; his siblings Mary Rock (James), Patricia Keenan (William), John Boyle (Terri), and Nora Koval (Chris); nieces Tara, Kelly, Megan, Mary, Lauren, and Logan; nephews JJ and Joe; and many other cherished family members.
He also leaves behind a wide circle of close friends, neighbors, and fellow military brothers and sisters who will never forget his loyalty, generosity, and unforgettable stories.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph V. and Helen S. Boyle.
Joe's legacy is one of service, laughter, faith, and love. He was truly one of a kind.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local Veteran's Affairs Department or the Texas Flood Relief in Joe's honor.
"Daddy, I will always miss you but knowing that you are here by my side every day - just as you were before - makes me stronger even on my bad days. I love you, Daddy, so very very much. You're my best friend, my hero, my ANGEL."
Rest in peace, Daddy.
