Joseph Santos Obituary
He was born in Wareham and lived there his whole life. He graduated from Wareham High School, class of 1956. He was an Air Force Veteran serving from 1957 to 1961. He then served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard.
Mr. Santos worked as a custodian for the Wareham School Department for many years. He also served as a volunteer firefighter for the Wareham Fire Department.
He enjoyed collecting coins and bowling.
Survivors include his brother, Albert Santos and his wife, Evelyn of Wareham; several nephews and nieces. He was the brother of the late Charles Santos, Richard Santos, Arthur Santos, and Helen Hayward.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations – Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 10 to 11 AM. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
