Joseph William "Todd" Velekei, born January 11, 1943, in Bethlehem PA, passed from this life on July 26,
2025, at his home in Atlanta TX. He was 82 years old.
Todd is preceded in death by wife Rebecca Ann (Riley) Velekei; and parents Emil John Velekei
Sr. and Helen (Antol) Velekei.
He is survived by daughters Henri Jo Temple and husband Cliff of Whitesboro TX, Leanne Neff
and husband Wes of Texarkana TX, and Toni Marie Brown and husband Chip of Wake Village TX;
brother Emil "Butch" Velekei Jr. of Bethlehem PA; sister Shirley Wysocki of Bethlehem PA;
grandchildren Treavor Velekei and wife Stephanie, Tyler Pines, Josey Brown, Madison Quinn and
husband Caleb, and Evan Brown; and great-grandchildren Kayleigh Faith, Joseph Todd, and
Aydan James.
He will be missed greatly by those left behind, but welcomed with open arms by those who preceded him.
Todd is being cremated under the direction of Queen City Funeral Home in Queen City TX.
