Joshua Limberhand was born in Billings, MT on April 27, 1996. He is the fourth youngest out of a family of nine. He lived in Busby growing up and attended both Hardin/Busby schools while he didn't graduate he reached senior year. He didn't have the easiest home life growing up but he did the best he could with the cards that he was dealt. While Joshua never truly stopped missing his family that he lost along the way, he was deeply affected by the passing of his mother the most. He would often visit her grave.
He loved playing video games and was a massive ICP fan. He was a kind person with a rough exterior but that never prevented him from making friends with all kinds of people. He met his future significant other Jasmine LongSioux in the Summer of 2015 through his dear friend Will LittleWolf. That very same Summer he was happily accepted into Job Corps in Utah for computer communications. They started dating during that Winter break. The following year they moved to Arkansas. There he was able to keep up with the demand of two jobs simultaneously, one as a cook and the other one as a food preparer. When they moved back to Hardin a year later he joined the carnival for a trip and heavily enjoyed the experience.
He decided to go back to Job Corps for Welding in 2019. While there he took the ASVAB, scoring well enough to qualify for his dream job as a demolitions expert in the army. In 2021, he and his spouse hitch hiked to Louisiana and went through hurricane Ida in New Orleans. Although they both were safe they were no longer able to stay in Louisiana and relocated to Florida. Joshua was able to see the ocean for the first time which his father had encouraged him to do. They returned to Hardin during Spring of next year.
He is preceded in death by both his parents Anna WolfBlack and Douglas Limberhand, Sr., oldest brother James, older sister Roberta, Dana (Rebekah), and his uncle Larry.
He is survived by his immediate family including brothers Landon, Douglas Jr, Isaiah, Blaine, his sisters Rachel, Charity, Rebekah, Savannah as well as his nieces and nephews.
Extended family includes Hilston, LongSioux, Wolf Name, Evans, Two Moons, Spang, Limpy, Little Whirl Wind, Flying, Walks Along, American Horse, Teeth, Yellow Robe and Sookitis families. We have a large family and many friends, so please forgive us if we've forgotten someone.
