Joyce Ann Cagle, age 81, went home to the Lord on Friday, May 9, 2025. She was a resident of Bryant, AL.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Joyce's life will be held on Monday, May 12th at 12:00 PM EST in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Jim Hixon officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Oak Lawn Cemetery.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation at the Bryant Chapel on Sunday, May 11th from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM EST and on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
Joyce chose to live her life through acts of kindness, generosity, and faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a beautiful soul.
Joyce is survived by her daughters, Debra Abernathy (Larry) and Brenda Cagle; grandchildren Britney (Bryan) Williams and Blake (Shana) Abernathy; great-grandchildren Jace, Layla, and Willow Grace Abernathy, Isaac (Katelyn) Moreland, Nevaeh Williams, and Trinity Williams; great-great-grandchild, Clay Lindsey Moreland. She is also survived by her sister, Emily Casey.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Hoyt Cagle; parents, Gilbert Jack and Mary Cloud Stevens.
Joyce's memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved and knew her.
The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Hospice of Alabama for their compassionate care during this time.
