Joyce Arleen Wolf, age 91, died on July 16, 2025. She was born on August 23, 1933, at home in the Town of Union Symco, the daughter of Arthur and Celia Steinbach. Joyce was an active member of Peace Lutheran Church, Neenah. Throughout her lifetime she participated in many volunteer and community service organizations. Since 1955 she enjoyed her summers at the “Wolf’s Den” at Little Silver Lake, Wild Rose where she loved to fish. Joyce lived a very fulfilling life.
Survivors include children: Sue Parks, Amy (Stan) Polidori, Fay (David) Polar, Paul Wolf, Lyn (David) Porto; grandchildren: Melissa Firgens, Krista Danielsen, Jimmy (Sam) Parks, Michael Polar, Ryan (Dany) Polar, Nicole Paschke, Jeremy Wolf, Jake Porto, Joey Porto; great grandchildren: Dayton, Kayley, and Kaylyn Danielsen, Dakota, and Sierra Firgens, Roman and Steive Wolf, Simon and Peter Polar. In addition, she is survived by her sisters-in-law Colleen Steinbach and Kathy Wolf.
She was preceded in death by her husbands James Wolf and Gordon Sewall; her parents; brothers Russell (Marie) Steinbach, Roger Steinbach and Phillip (Peg) Steinbach; and in-laws Bob (Nancy) Wolf and Gerald Wolf.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Peace Lutheran Church.
A memorial service for Joyce will take place on Thursday, August 14th at Peace Lutheran Church, located at 1228 South Park Avenue in Neenah. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm followed by the service at 3:00 pm, with a meal to follow.
