Juan Carlos Valenzuela, known affectionately as Carlos to his friends and family, passed away peacefully of natural causes on April 14, 2025, in Huntington Park, Los Angeles, just two days after celebrating his 56th birthday. Born on April 12, 1969, in Jalisco, Mexico, Carlos was a man whose presence was characterized by his loving nature, handy skills, and friendly demeanor.
Carlos's life was marked by his unwavering work ethic. Throughout his life, he took on numerous jobs and tackled each with a level of excellence that was admired by all who knew him. His commitment to his work was paralleled only by his devotion to his faith. A devout Catholic, Carlos's faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding him in his daily actions and interactions with others.
In his youth, Carlos was an exceptional gymnast, displaying a natural talent and dedication to the sport. His passion for cars was evident to anyone who saw him care for his own vehicles with meticulous attention. Carlos also found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as watching soccer games with his father, Lorenzo Valenzuela, who survives him. His favorite pastime was to indulge in the rich flavors of his favorite dish, Pozole, and to reminisce about his cherished visits to Madera.
Carlos leaves behind a loving family, including his wife, Sandra Aguillon, who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his mother, Francisca Valenzuela. His legacy will continue through his father, Lorenzo, his sisters, Nena Soto and Blanca Salas, his brother, Manuel Valenzuela, and his adoring nieces and nephews: Cesar, Jose, Luis, Karnia, Sergio, Andy, Karo, and Suzie.
Carlos's life was a testament to the power of love, hard work, and faith. His memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. As we say goodbye to Carlos Valenzuela, we celebrate the enduring impact he made on the world and the lives he touched. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever be a guiding light for his family and friends.
