He was born Dec. 11, 1951, in Cleveland.
Richard was a model car and coin collector who also enjoyed fishing and woodworking. He loved anything with eagles and his pets, especially his tortoise.
He was the loving father of Robert D. (Margaret) Neibert, Mike E. Neibert and Stacey J. Neibert; cherished grandfather of Alexis, Nicholas, Jessica, Mariah, Katlynn, Mckenzie and Stephanie; and former husband of Valerie D. Neibert.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, James and Virginia (nee Blain) Neibert; and brother, James Neibert.
Services for Richard will be private.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
