Justin Antrae Dyer, age 42, of Knoxville, TN, passed away Friday morning June 27, 2025.
A Celebration of Life with be 11 AM Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Sevier Street First Baptist Church in Shelbyville.
Visitation will be from 10 AM until service time at the church.
He was born on June 15, 1983, in Shelbyville, Tn to Bertha Stewart and Kenneth Dyer. He is proceeded in death by his father, Kenneth Dyer and his grandmother, Hattie Bell Stewart.
Justin Dyer, aka Baby Jay, was a remarkable person with a magnetic presence. With every witty response he carved out his reputation as someone you didn't want to argue with. He was known for being class of 2001 Student Council President and Mr. Central. Justin was well known in Shelbyville. He was also known for his singing which he had auditioned for American idol in 2003. He was known to his family by so many names such as, Uncle Jay and Baby Jay bird.
He is survived by his mother, Bertha Stewart; brother, Antwann Dyer; grandmother, Nannie Sue Dyer; grandfather, Herbert Lee (Bernetta) Stewart; nephew, Akoyai Dyer (Corisca Leslie); niece, Akiya Dyer; great niece, Amourra Dyer and three aunts, Ann (Wade) Harper, Sandra (Matt) Glenn and Minister Tracy McKinney.
Justin is Survived by a special bonus sister, Tanica Berry and special friends who turned into family, Abril Story and Kesha Hardin. He was loved and will be missed by great aunts, uncles, many cousins and friends.
