Kailene Villebrun-Bevins Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jul. 6, 2025.
Kailene Villebrun-Bevins, age 34, of White Earth, MN, died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at her home.
Kailene Cheri was born December 20, 1990, in Detroit Lakes, MN, the daughter of Jamie Bevins Sr. and Theresa Villebrun. Most of her childhood years were spent in the White Earth area except for the time she spent with her mom and brother, Honker, living in New Jersey. After returning to Minnesota, Kailene attended school in Waubun, MN, and graduated from Waubun High School in 2009. During high school, Kailene met Daniel Dakota and in June of 2009 the two welcomed a son, Michael, and later two daughters, Desirae and Paige to make their family complete.
Kailene worked for a time at the Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen and was currently the Assistant Manager of the White Earth Fleet Department for White Earth Nation. However, her most important job was being a mom and a caregiver. In addition to raising her own children, she helped to raise her siblings and took care of her grandpa, James. Kailene was loving, caring and a mama to all. Family was her priority and she loved when they would have any type of family get togethers, especially family game night, it was always a good time! She also enjoyed sewing and making jingle dresses. Kailene will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Kailene leaves behind her significant other, Daniel "Mouse" Dakota; their children: Michael, Desirae and Paige all of White Earth; her father, Jamie (Danelle "Nellie" Keezer) Bevins Sr. of White Earth; grandma, Lillian (James) Pinneo of Phoenix, AZ; brothers, Timothy Bevins and Joseph (Delayna) Bevins both of White Earth; sisters: Tiana Bevins, Miranda "Nana" Bevins both of White Earth and Desi Swanson of Frazee, MN; aunts, uncles and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mom, Theresa Villebrun; brother, Jamie "Honker" Bevins Jr.; grandpa, James Bevins; and grandpa and grandma, Jon and Cheri Stoa.
Blessed be the memory of Kailene Villebrun-Bevins.
