Kaitlyn Louise Winans, 37, of Manchester, Connecticut passed away unexpectedly on July 24, 2025.

Kaitlyn was born In Rockville, Connecticut to Craig Winans, currently of Manchester, and Dawn Winans of Ellington.

Kaitlyn had a heart of gold. She would help anyone with anything. Her heart was huge for animals, and she could not resist having one or more in the residence at all times.

Kaitlyn was a people person. She loved talking with people. Her employment, most currently at Hartford Hospital, always had her surrounded by people.

Kaitlyn was creative and enjoyed drawing and painting. Her creativity showed up as well in her cooking, baking, and her choices of jewelry.

Kaitlyn is survived by her parents, her two brothers, Scott Winans of Manchester, and Travis Winans of Ellington, and her stepmom, Joann Hoffman. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Emily Shaw-Winans, Noah Winans, Abigail Winans and Ezra Winans. Kaitlyn leaves her best friend, Drew Kehoe and her loving fur-babies Deems and Beary.

All are welcome to join her family at the Ellington Baptist Church, 264 Pinney St., Ellington, CT 06029, on Monday, July 28, 2025, for calling hours from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm with a service to begin at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow in Ellington Center Cemetery. To view the service online, please go to www.ellingtonbaptistchurch.org Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home in Vernon has care of the arrangements.
