Karen Ann Walker, 82 of Naples Florida, passed away on June 23, 2025.
She was born on February 7, 1943, in Alexandria, Va., the daughter of the late Frank J Mahefky and Mary Margaret Lynch Mahefky.
Karen is survived by her two sons, Glenn D. Walker III and Holt J. Walker, two grandchildren, Reese Walker and Campbell Walker and her brother Paul F. Mahefky and his wife Diane and two nieces Jessica M. McLane and Paige M. Stransky.
She was a member of St. William Catholic Church in Naples Florida and was a Lay Carmelite.
The Carmelite community focuses on prayer, community, and ministry, striving for union with God through Carmelite spirituality. Her Catholic faith was an integral part of her life.
Karen loved to travel and visited numerous countries, including China, St. Petersburg, Russia, Italy, Ireland, Spain and France. She lived in Germany and Turkey with her military husband who was in the military in her early married life.
She eventually settled in Naples Florida, near her retired parents, and bought Sunshine Discount Vitamins. Her passion was wellness and helping others achieve their best health. She successfully ran her business for 25 years.
Karen was devoted to her family and could always be counted on to have a twinkle in her eye and a ready laugh. She will be greatly missed and will remain in our prayers until we meet again in heaven.
