Karen Jean Walker (Harris), a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, peacefully passed away July 20, 2025, at the age of 70, surrounded by her loved ones in her Burleson, Texas home.
Karen Jean Walker was born December 6, 1954, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky to Verdo and Beverly Harris. She graduated from Everman High School in 1973. Subsequently, she married Tony Walker, the love of her life, on September 14, 1974. They went on to have two boys, Russ’l and Cory. Karen cherished her family and took immense pride in grandchildren, great grandchildren as her role as Mamaw.
She was preceded in death by her parents Verdo and Beverly Harris, and her brother Kurt Harris.
Karen is survived by her husband of 50 years, Tony Walker, brother Kevin Harris and wife Brenda, sons Russ’l Walker and wife Jennifer, Cory Walker and wife Dawn. She also leaves behind grandchildren Tayla, Matthew and wife Selina, Clara and husband James, RJ and wife Rachel, Justin, Faith and Shyla; great grandchildren Axton, David, Wilder, Eidyn, Ivy, and Evari.
As they mourn her loss, her family and friends take comfort in the memories they shared with her, and the impact she had on their lives.
