Karen Lynn Browning York, 68, of Marion, passed away at her residence on Tuesday morning, July 22, 2025 with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Pinellas County, Florida on October 29, 1956 to the late David Lee Browning and Dorothy Hazel ORourke Browning. Karen was an avid and talented bowler, and she had a particular fondness for horses. Throughout her life, she owned horses and enjoyed caring for them. She had a special sense of humor that her family and friends enjoyed. Karen always put her family first, and her love for them was unmatched.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis York; sister, Patricia Kent; brother, Jimmy Browning; and an aunt, Martha Wilson.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Tanya Noonan (Ryan) and Douglas York, and six grandchildren, McKayla Ingram, Nicholas Ingram, Damean York, Corbin York, Burton Noonan, and Alucia Noonan.
In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held.
