She was born on July 4, 1926, in Windhorst Yugoslavia., and is the daughter of the late Charolette Eng and Jacob Eng.
Besides her parents, Katharina is also predeceased by her brother Jacob Eng and her sisters Marie Stark, and Sophie Koenig.
Katharina is survived by her husband Gunther Walter, her daughter Inge (John) Condy of Athens, grandchildren Daniel, Vanessa and John as well as and her two sisters; Elsa Takatsch and Helen Hutter.
Her life's work was creating a loving home, where family and friends always felt welcome and cared for. A homemaker in title, but in truth, the quite architect of her family's joy and comfort.
