Kathleen Joyce Johnson, 75, of Stamford passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025 in Haskell. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Trinity Church with Dr. Robert Wingrove officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Creek Cemetery in Avoca under the direction of Kinney-Underwood Funeral Home.
Kathleen was born January 20, 1950, in Butler, PA to Ralph Lewis and Ruth Dorothy (Slater) Hesidenz. She married Douglas Ross Johnson on May 10, 1977 in Jacksonville, FL. They moved to Stamford in 1979. Douglas passed away December 23, 2005. She received her Registered Nursing License from Cisco Junior College. She worked as an RN at many health Care facilities in the area.
She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church. Kathleen enjoyed gardening and being outside spending time with her animals. She was a very caring person and was a mother to all who she came in contact with.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children daughter, Mary Elizabeth Johnson of Abilene; 2 sons Joshua Tyyrone Johnson and Amy Martinez of Stamford, Joe Johnson of Temple; Grandchildren Garrett Arendall of Comanche, Jayden Johnson of Abilene, Angel Martinez of Colorado; Adan Martinez of Stamford.
