Kathleen Miller, 63, of Sandwich, IL passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at her home. Kathy was born on August 1, 1961 in Joliet, IL the daughter of Marvin and Barbara (Brocker) Angus. She married Garry Miller on October 12, 1984, recently celebrating 40 years of marriage.
Kathy and Garry had two children together, Ryan (Amy) Miller of Sandwich, IL and Kyle (Martina) Miller of Marquette Heights, IL Kathy was the beloved grandmother of Kayla, Rylee, Audrianna, Jaxon, Maverick, Madalynn and Harper.
Kathy had many jobs through the years, but the ones she loved the most was being a home health caregiver. Kathy enjoyed doing her diamond artwork, where she created many beautiful pieces of artwork for several family members and dear friends. Kathy also loved traveling by Amtrak across the country with her late husband Garry.
She is survived by her father, Marvin (Ruth) Angus, one brother, Augie (Susan) Brocker; two children, Ryan (Amy) Miller and Kyle (Martina) Miller; one step-sister, Roxanne (Tom) Heischmidt; seven grandchildren, and many loved nieces, nephews and cousins.
Kathy is preceded in death by her husband, Garry Miller and mother, Barbara (Brocker) Poznicki.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 7, 2025 at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL. A funeral mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church in Sandwich, IL with Father Brian Geary officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Cemetery in Sandwich, IL.
