Mother Kathleen Seymoure was born in Cowick Park, Manchester, Jamaica, West Indies, to Master Headley and Icyline Green. A woman of deep faith and resilience, she was shaped by her early experiences in Jamaica and inspired by hymns like "It Is Well With My Soul." Her favorite scripture, Psalm 71:1 & 9, guided her life:
"In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust... Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth."
After visiting Nassau, Bahamas, Kathleen journeyed to the U.S., eventually settling in Miami, Florida, where she met and married Robert Leon Seymoure in 1959. They became devoted members of Mt. Calvary Pentecostal Faith Church and worked faithfully at Bethel Sunshine Camp.
Kathleen later made Neptune, New Jersey her forever home. There, she and Robert built a successful caregiving business, helping many families and assisting others in migrating to the United States-a legacy carried on through her children. In New Jersey, they became devoted members of Mt. Olive Holy Temple Church of God in Christ.
Mother Kathleen Seymoure's legacy of faith, compassion, and service lives on in every life she touched.
