Kathy Ann Raynor Holmes, age 62, of Adams Road passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held-11:00 AM Friday, July 18, 2025 at Calvary Baptist Church in Dunn. Officiating will be Revs. Aaron Glass, Joshua Whitney, and Steven Whitley. Burial will follow in Holmes Family Cemetery in Benson.
Mrs. Holmes was born on September 2, 1962 in Johnston County to the late Donald Ray “Boo” and Joyce Barbour Raynor. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Holmes was an excellent and hardworking homemaker who took pride in everything she did both inside and outside of her home. She was a great example of a Christian woman who loved her Lord and Savior, reading the bible, and listening to gospel music. She also loved to cook for her family, garden, paint, and take care of her animals. She was so excited about recently becoming a grandma. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving includes her husband of 28 years, Steven Holmes; daughters, Taylor Brooke Raynor and fiancé, Steven Ray Goldman, Abby Leigh Holmes and special friend, Austin Spears, and Katie Ann Holmes; grandson, Colsen Reed Goldman; sisters, Teresa Barefoot and Rhonda Raynor; and brother, Donald Ray Raynor, Jr.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
