Beloved Wife of Edward J.
Loving Mother of Edward Rohlfes III & Tiffany Simon.
Devoted Sister to Richard Zajac.
Grandmother of Alex Rohlfes, Evan & Emily Simon.
Kathy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, She brought color, joy, and a deep sense of care to everyone she knew.
Kathy was a bright light who expressed her vibrant personality through fashion, collecting, and an unmatched love of shopping.
She embraced every holiday with enthusiasm, always donning a perfectly coordinated outfit to match the spirit of the season. Her creativity and sparkle were impossible to miss.
Kathy was also a lifelong learner and avid reader.
In her quiet moments, she could often be found enjoying a good book.
She spent her career in banking, where her attention to detail and warm presence made her a valued colleague and friend.
She took pride in her work and was deeply committed to supporting her coworkers.
More than anything, Kathy cherished her family.
From a young age, she treasured playing board games with her parents, sister, and brother-traditions she lovingly carried on with her husband, Ed, and her grandchildren.
Uno and Spy Alley were among her favorite games, always
played with laughter and love.
Kathy had a special way of making others feel cared for.
Her delight in children, especially seeing them dressed up for the holidays, was just one example of her spirit.
She was not only a devoted partner to her husband Ed, but also a beloved mother to Tiffany and Edward, a cherished grandmother to Evan, Emily, and Alex, a treasured sister, and the best aunt and great-aunt anyone could ask for.
Kathy Rohlfes was truly loved by all who knew her.
Her warmth, wit, and generosity will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
A memorial Visitation will take place on Monday, July 21, 2025 from 9-11AM with a 10AM Chapel Service at
Geils Funeral Home 180 S. York Rd. Bensenville, Illinois.
Interment Private.
