Kaplan, Louisiana- A Funeral Service Officiated by Deacon William Vincent will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 08, 2025, at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan honoring the life of Katrina Faye Villejoin, 58, who passed away on June 30, 2025.
A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Monday, July 07, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM and will continue Tuesday, July 08, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM on Monday, July 7, 2025. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery.
A strong, amazing, and beautiful woman who delighted in cooking, shopping, and sharing quality time with loved ones. Having devoted numerous hours to mastering the art of Cajun cooking and baking. Affectionately known to her nieces and nephews as Tauntie or "the donut lady" and "Kat" to friends and acquaintances. A kind-hearted individual with a captivating smile, possessing a unique gift for making others feel special, appreciated, and cared for. She also volunteered her time on the board of directors for the Indian Bayou Volunteer Fire Dept. following in her Brother Kevin's footsteps. She will live in our hearts, always.
She is survived by two sisters, Shantell Villejoin Landry and Carla Villejoin Haley and her husband John Haley; one sister-in-law, Vannessa Villejoin; two nieces, Constance Villejoin (Curtis Campbell) and Abbigail Haley; and four nephews, Gavin Landry, Caden Campbell Austin Haley, and Cooper Campbell.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Alice Villejoin; and one brother, Kevin Villejoin.Pallbearers will be Bennett Foreman, Jay Duhon, John Haley, Gavin Landry, Curtis Campbell, and Caden Campbell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Austin Haley & Cooper Campbell.
Katrina's family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Edith Hargrave & Peggy Frederick for dedicating personal time to providing care and support to Katrina during her most difficult moments. Also, her care team, physicians and their staff with Our Lady of Lourdes JD Moncus Cancer Center, Cardiovascular Institute of the South, and Elizabeth Blake, NP.
