HOLTON
Keith L. Holton, age 71, of Catawba, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025, in the Villa Springfield Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
Born July 17, 1954, in Columbus, Ohio, Keith was a cherished son of Roger Dale Holton and Mabel Louise (Johnson) (Holton) Halley.
A 1972 graduate of London High School, Keith went on to serve various careers including working as a dairy manager for Kroger, a propane delivery driver, a laborer for Paygro, an EMT and volunteer firefighter for both Pleasant Township in Clark County and Central Townships in Madison County, a pizza maker for various restaurants, and his favorite profession as an auto body technician all before enjoying his retirement. Keith had a way with cars, and even while retired he could be found fraternizing with family and friends all while still tinkering with cars. He truly had a talent for both auto body mechanics and more importantly...having fun!
No matter what troubles life challenged him with, Keith remained immensely proud of the family who stood beside him through every step of the way and brought him so much joy. On March 3, 1979, Keith married the love of his life, Rebecca (Vore) Holton and together they welcomed three beautiful daughters and eventually two cherished grandkids who have since been adored endlessly. Although he was known to have an ornery side, Keith was steadfast in his faith, always knowing the Lord was in control, his teachings are paramount, and his plan is perfect.
He was an avid sports fan, routinely supporting the Cleveland Browns, Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds, or any NASCAR race to cheer on his favorite drivers Bill Elliott and Jimmie Johnson, he always would have an event to watch and would certainly welcome you to watch alongside him. Although quiet and gentle, Keith truly never met a stranger and could befriend anyone within a single conversation.
Left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 46 years: Becky Holton; daughters Aimee Massie and Anna McCall, son-in-law Eric Connolly (husband of Allison); grandchildren Holton Massie and Scarlet McCall; sister Kathy Spring, sister-in-law Jackie Holton (wife of Mike); numerous adored nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Keith is now reunited in heaven with his daughter Allison Holton, brother Mike Holton, in addition to several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration to honor Keith's life will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, beginning at 3:00 PM in the United Church of South Vienna, 227 East Main Street, South Vienna, Ohio 45369, with Mr. Ben Bonham officiating. If you wish, feel free to wear your favorite Browns, Buckeyes, Reds, or NASCAR attire in support of the sports of which he so greatly loved.
In lieu of fresh flowers, live plants or artificial arrangements would be preferred by the Holton family.
