Kenneth Ball Obituary

Kenneth "Guy" Roy Ball, Jr., age 77, of Caro, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025, at the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center in Saginaw. Born on July 30, 1947, in Cass City, Guy was the son of the late Kenneth and Betty (Silvernail) Ball, Sr. He graduated from Cass City High School and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. On August 12, 1972, he married the love of his life, Beverly, and together they shared over five decades of love and commitment.
Guy dedicated over thirty-eight years of service to the Caro Water Department and also served his community as a volunteer firefighter. He was a proud member of the American Legion and, in his younger years, enjoyed playing baseball. In retirement, Guy could often be found relaxing with a good book or enjoying his favorite TV shows.
Guy is survived by his wife, Beverly; sons & their wives, Kenneth & Esmeralda Ball and Chris & Danyel Ball; grandsons, Tyler & Ian; brothers, Kim (Sharon) Ball and Kris (Shelly) Ball; sister, Kelley (Rich) Letts; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Kerry Ball.
Guy's funeral service will be on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro. The family will be present to receive visitors on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
