Obituary
Kenneth Lee Evans
September 15, 1945 – June 25, 2025
Kenneth Lee Evans, 79, passed away at Worland Healthcare and Rehabilitation on June 25, 2025.
Ken was born in Jackson, Michigan on September 15, 1945. He was the only child of Clifford Earl and Marian Beatrice (Hill) Evans.
Following high school graduation Ken enlisted in the United States Navy, serving on the USS Princeton during the Viet Nam Conflict.
For many years after his military service, he drove his own semi-truck across the country for various companies. Eventually he branched off into property maintenance in Minnesota,
achieving a 1st Class C Boilers license, Pool & Spa Operator license and insurance license. He also occasionally taught HVAC courses at vocational schools in Minneapolis, MN.
He met Nancy I. Hann in May of 2002 and on July 14, 2012, the couple married.
Ken loved animals, especially dogs and cats and was surrounded by them his entire life.
Being surrounded by water was one of his favorite places to be. Ken and Nancy spent many years boating on Lake Minnetonka, the St. Croix and Mississippi Rivers in Minnesota.
In December of 2024 Ken and Nancy decided to move to Wyoming. It was quiet and beautiful, great for photography which Ken loved and painting, Nancy's passion. Soon after relocating to Worland, Ken began having health issues. Numerous trips were made seeking medical attention, but the beginning of June saw Ken entering Worland Healthcare for some rehabilitation to get his strength back. Nancy was saddened, not being able to bring him back home.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Nancy; daughter, Victoria Butler; son, Eugene Evans both of Minnesota; his beloved dog, Emmie and tiny Nikki, the cat.
Cremation has taken place, and a private family service will take place at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.bryantfuneralhomeonline.com.
Ken's smile, big hugs and sese of humor are greatly missed.

My Condolences. I did not know Ken very well but he had a big heart and was a great partner for my sister Nancy.

I am saddened by the news but take solace in that he led a very full life.

Sending our love, we are so sad for you. We were looking forward to visiting and touring Wyoming with you and Ken. Remembering the times spent with him - Tofino at Christmas, you and Ken picking me up at the airport to spend a few hours on your boat, the wonderful photographs he took. Del's family sends their love and condolences. Much love, Susan and Del
