On April 11,2024 Kenneth D Salls Sr., loving husband, father, grandpa and brother, died at age 87 in his home in Johnson with his family near by.
In 1960 Ken met the love of his life, Addie Curtis, they married in August 4, 1960. Soon after the wedding, Ken and Addie moved to Florida where Ken went to college, then to Washington where he took a job with Boeing. They lived in 3 more states before settling in Morrisville, Vermont to raise their 4 children and added one more to the family. Ken worked for over 20 years for the Morrisville Water and Light Department, retiring in the late 90's. The family home was sold in the early 2000s and they moved to Johnson where they have lived happily for the last 20 years. The Order of the Eastern Star was a big part of Ken's life. He and Addie were very active members and made many friends and fond memories with the Eastern Star family, he was Worthy Grand Patron for the state of Vermont in 1994. His love for this order was evident to those who knew him.
Ken is survived by his wife and best friend Addie, four of their children, Ken Jr, Mary Salls-Audet, Scott and Addie Mae, grand children and great grandchildren, his brother Thomas Salls and his wife Pamela, and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son Curtis, his sister Arlene Keith and his parents.
