Kenneth Sulfridge Obituary

Kenneth Ray Sulfridge, age 76, of London, KY passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024.
He leaves behind one son, Travis Sulfridge of London, KY; four siblings, Paulette Foister, Sandy Allen, Fred Sulfridge & wife Geri all of London, KY, Mary Hermano of Bristol, WI; special friends, Billie Deaton and Angie Banks; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith Brown Sulfridge; one son Jason Ray Sulfridge; his parents, John Sulfridge & Ruby Witt Sulfridge; three brothers-in-law, Gene Hermano, Roger Allen, James Foister.
Kenneth was known for his friendly nature and his ability to engage with everyone he met, making each interaction memorable with his jovial spirit and love for telling jokes.
A passionate outdoorsman, Kenneth found joy in fishing and hunting, activities that allowed him to connect with nature and share treasured moments with loved ones. His caring heart and deep love for his family were evident in everything he did, and his presence will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Kenneth shared over 50 years of marriage with his devoted wife, who preceded him in death. Their enduring bond was a testament to their unwavering commitment and love for one another.
He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, compassion, and cherished memories that will continue to inspire and uplift those who knew him. Kenneth's memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will forever treasure the joy and light he brought into their lives.
A funeral service honoring Kenneth Ray Sulfridge will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Dennis Gibbs officiating. Interment will follow at the Chesnut cemetery in London, Kentucky. Military honors will be provided by the local DAV Chapter 158 of Keavy, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour also at the funeral home. The family has entrusted House-Rawlings Funeral Home with the arrangements.
