Kenny Hoffman Obituary
Kenny was born on April 10, 1951, in the state of California, the son of James William and Bessie Lee (Hagar) Hoffman. He was a graduate of South Shelby High School and remained a proud member of his community throughout his life. Kenny served as both a City of Clarence mayor and alderman, always dedicated to improving the town he called home. He owned and operated a mowing business and also worked as a school bus driver from 2002 to 2017.
Kenny was a man of many interests. He found joy in fishing, coyote hunting, and watching tractor pulls. However, his greatest happiness came from spending time with his family, especially his beloved granddaughters.
He is survived by his daughter, Emily Hays, and her husband, Tyler, of Shelbina, MO; three granddaughters, Kayly Rash, Layton Hays, and Mia Hays; his brother, Bill Hoffman (Laurie) of Centralia, MO; stepbrothers, Jimmy Moncrief of Macon, MO, and Billy Moncrief of Clarence, MO; stepsisters, Faye Jennings of Odessa, MO, and Sarah Hoffman of Clarence, MO; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents; his two sisters, Sue Beatty and Leanne Cox; and his brothers, Larry Hoffman and Jim Hoffman. He was also preceded in death by his stepmother, Blanche Hoffman, stepfather, Lee Cox, and stepbrother, Grady Moncrief.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Clarence, MO. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hand of Clarence or Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
Kenny will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and the community he served.

Kenny was a sweet guy. A few days before passing he text me asking about my farm eggs and if I had any on hand to sell.. he would text me to see how I was doing and feeling after Charlie passed.. I'll miss our friendly chats.
