Kenny was born on May 29, 1941, in Plainview, Texas, to Russell and Geraldine Wilhite.
Kenny worked for Pioneer Natural Gas (now known as Atmos) till his retirement. He graduated from Plainview High School in 1959. Known for his attention to detail, he was always very neat. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf and had a passion for classic cars.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Geraldine Wilhite; his brother, James "Bud" Wilhite; his sister, Wynelle "Nell" Grant; and a grandson, Karson Wilhite.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Kenton Wilhite of Haskell, TX; his two grandchildren, Karter Wilhite of Lindale, TX, and Klaire Wilhite of Big Sandy, TX; and a lifelong friend, Maria Delacruz.
