Kevin James Henson, age 57, of Sardinia, Ohio, passed away on July 4, 2025.
Born on November 2, 1967, Kevin was the beloved son of Kenneth Henson and the late Selma Henson. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, and a loyal friend to many who were blessed to know him.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Andrea Brewer; his father, Kenneth Henson; and his sister, Angie Schlake, and her husband, Jim Burroughs. He was a proud father to his son, Cody Henson, Cody's girlfriend, Caitlin, and their son, Carson. Kevin was also a caring stepfather to Alex Brewer and his wife, Haley, AJ Brewer and his wife, Jensen, and Ashlyn Brewer. He is also survived by many extended family members, including Angie's children, Stephanie Schlake and son Jaydon and Brad Schlake and wife, Kaylan, and their children, Axel and Ellie.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Duane Henson; his nephew, Kenny Henson; and his mother, Selma Henson.
Kevin will be remembered for his generous heart, his unwavering love for family, and his knack for building and creating. He found great joy in working with his hands, especially in the restoration of his old barn house-a true labor of love. Some of his happiest moments were spent alongside Andrea at their vacation home in Florida, where they shared many treasured memories.
A man of deep faith, Kevin loved Jesus and lived his life anchored in that relationship. His faith brought him strength, peace, and purpose, and it shined through in how he treated others-with kindness, compassion, and humility.
Visitation and services will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home, located at 1944 State Route 28, Goshen, Ohio. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Graceland Memorial Gardens.
Please join us in celebrating the life of Kevin James Henson-a man who was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
