The son of Denise (Taufer) Osborn and the late John J. LeRoy, he was born April 4, 1986 in Laramie, Wyoming.
Kevin was an avid fisherman and had a passion for all animals. He loved being present in nature and was known to take his kayak out at the Basha Kill on numerous occasions. His favorite quote was 'Let your worries stay small and let your dreams stay big'.
He is survived by his mother: Denise Osborn and her husband Larry of Bloomingburg; a sister: Tammy Wild of Wallkill; his grandfather: Don Taufer Sr. who shared the same birthday with Kevin; aunt Liberty Bell Fay; niece Melody; and cousins: Raleigh Taufer of San Diego, CA, Quinn Taufer of Alaska, and Kelly & Berrett Taufer of Idaho Falls, ID.
In addition to his father John, he was predeceased by his grandmother: Margaret LeRoy; uncles Don Taufer Jr. and Bill LeRoy; and a cousin Joey LeRoy;
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11 from 3:00 to 6:00pm at the VanInwegen-Kenny Funeral Home, 111 Sullivan Street in Wurtsboro with a funeral service starting at approx 5:30pm. Cremation will follow the services.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Sullivan County SPCA www.sullivanspca.org

My deepest condolences I´m stuck in traffic and may not make it from Baltimore Kevin was one of my best friends and it´s hard not being able to talk with him. I will miss you and love you forever and always.
