PERRYSVILLE: Kevin Russell Settles passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening, July 2, 2025, in his home at the age of 42.
He was born March 7, 1983, in Cleveland, Ohio, to parents Charles Settles & Patricia Rock, and graduated from Brunswick High School in the class of 2001.
Most of Kevin's work experience has been in woodworking, which included flooring and cabinetry.
In his spare time, Kevin took pleasure in spending time outdoors, hunting and kayaking. He also enjoyed working out and spending time with his kids, nieces, nephews, and family. Kevin was described as having a big heart and being a big softy, and having a great sense of humor, always making everyone around him laugh. He always went out of his way to prioritize everyone's well-being around him.
He is survived by his children Casey, Kinsley, and Sophia; his mother and step-father/ best friend Pat & Joe Baca; his siblings Charles Settles, Jennifer (Jeff) Settles, and Karen (Keith) Eshbaugh; his nieces and nephews Vincent, Donovan, Kylie, Kiefer, Jason (Peightyn), Jenna, Emma, Zach, and Jacob; his great nephew Kai Luca; and his aunts, Susan (Dan) Ricci and Myra.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father and his uncle, Father Michael Rock.
Kevin's family will receive friends on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Snyder Funeral Home- Lindsey Chapel, Loudonville. A funeral service honoring will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 11 a.m. Pastor Hareldo Miller will speak, and a burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
