Evans, GA - Kimberly Williamson Lind, 69, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
She was born on Jan. 18, 1956, in Augusta, GA, to Carol and Robert Williamson. She was raised by two loving sets of parents: Carol and Dan Sheppard, and Robert and Gloria Williamson. Kimberly grew up in Augusta, GA and went to high school at the Academy of Richmond County. After high school, she attended two years of college. She married John Bradford Lind when she was 20 years old and together, they raised their son Trevor Lind in Evans, GA. She worked with her mother in bookkeeping, and before retirement, she was a manager for many years at Villa Marie Apartments. A devoted wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother, she spent her retirement years caring for and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband: John Bradford Lind; her father: Robert Williamson; stepfather: Dan Sheppard; and brother: Rip Williamson.
She is survived by: her son: Trevor Lind (Sarah Lind); and two grandchildren: Caroline Lind and John Lind of Evans, GA; mother: Carol Sheppard of Evans, GA; brothers Keith Williamson of Appling, GA, Danny Sheppard of Fort Mill, SC, and Mike Dickey (Alana Dickey) of Waynesboro, GA; sister: Kelly Williamson of McBean, GA; brother-in-law: Chris Lind (Sherri Lind) of Graniteville, SC; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Thomas and Poteet & Son Funeral Directors. There will be a private graveside service.
