Funeral services for Kirby Chapman will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home, Columbia. Interment will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery, Grayson. The family will have visitation prior to the service on Wednesday, at the funeral home, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
Kirby Chapman, age 69, of Columbia, Louisiana, passed from this life on June 29, 2025, and was greeted by his loving parents, Melvin and Annie Chapman. Those left to love and miss him are his three sons: Kenneth Chapman (Jennifer), Keith Chapman, and Daniel Chapman (Erin); his grandkids: Kayden Chapman (Anahlise), Kyler Chapman, Kylee Chapman, and Ronni Warner; brother, Alton Chapman (LaNae); nieces, Christy Tate (Robbie) and Amanda Burgess (Greg); nephew, Dusty Chapman (Roxanne); great-nieces: Kaylee, Kensey, Whitney, Rylie, and Kelly Jo, along with other family and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Alton Chapman, Daniel Chapman, Mitch Bratton, Robbie Tate, Greg Burgess, Kayden Chapman, and Keith Chapman. Honorary pallbearer is Danny Lively.
