Krista's professional journey was distinguished by her two passions for caregiving and education. She was a dedicated healthcare worker, where her caring nature stood out as she touched the lives of many people.
Following this, she found much joy in working with the Jackson County Public Schools System as a teacher's assistant, She had such a natural gift for connecting with children, nurturing them not only through education but with love and understanding. Her deep commitment to caring for others defined both her careers.
To those close to her, Krista was not just a caregiver; she was a bright light in every room, often regarded as the person who could lift spirits with her warm embrace and infectious smile. Her generous heart extended to her family, especially to her beloved grandsons—Isaiah, Zacchaeus, and Ezekiel—who brought immense joy to her life. As a grandmother, she was nothing short of amazing, creating memories filled with laughter and love.
Krista's love for life shined through her love for travel and adventure. The beaches of Mexico held a special place in her heart, offering her moments of bliss and sweet memories. She enjoyed the thrill of water skiing and snow skiing, Krista also found excitement in all types of racing, bringing her contagious energy to every event.
Family was everything to Krista. She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years Woody Valentine, daughter Rebekah Valentine, and son-in-law Ruben Jimenez Lopez, along with her treasured grandsons. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of her brother Joey Bryson and sister-in-law Becky, as well as her loving nephews Trevor and Trenton Bryson, dear niece Paige Bryson. Krista wove together threads of dedication, compassion, and joy. Her spirit will resonate in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those who had the privilege to experience her vibrant presence.
