Kristie "Kris" Rock, 73, of Norwich, OH, passed away Wednesday July 2, 2025. She was born April 23, 1952, in Zanesville, OH, a daughter of the late Bernard and Mary Ann Wagy Rock.
Kris was a 1970 graduate of Rosecrans High School and a United States Army Veteran for six years. She worked as a Registered Nurse with Genesis HealthCare for 33 years. She was a member of the Infusion Nursing Society and Oncology Nursing Society.
She is survived by her lifelong partner and love of her life, Rebecca Sue Rushing; a son Michael J. (Krystle) Rushing; grandchildren: Jasmine, Waylon, and Dallas; a brother Dr. Raymond P. Rock; and a sister Regina R. Smith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers: James B. Rock and Edmund E. Rock; a sister, Marie A Bonifield; and a sister-in-law, Bobbi Rock.
Calling hours will be from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. The funeral service will begin at 10:30 AM in the Snouffer Chapel with Fr. David Young officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.
