Krystyna Noworyta departed this life on July 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was 87 years old. Born in Osiek, Poland on February 10, 1938, Krystyna was a woman of courage, grace and deep resilience. Together with our father, Rudolf Noworyta, she made the life changing decision to migrate to the United States, in search of a greater opportunity and a better future for her children. With strength and determination, Krystyna helped build a home in the United States, while holding tightly to the values, traditions and love of her homeland of Poland. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Krystyna lived her life of service to others and selflessly assisted the migration of thirty plus family members and friends to the United States, so they could live and have a more prosperous life. Krystyna was the heart of our family, always offering her love, wisdom, work ethic and a warm meal to anyone who crossed her path. Her legacy lives on in the lessons she taught, the sacrifices she made and the kindness she shared with all who knew her. Beloved wife of the late Rudolf. Loving mother of Beata (Thomas) McHenry, and Marek. Cherished grandmother of Thomas, Ryan, Shannon, Christopher, and Jacob. Dear sister of Weronika (Mieczyslaw) Sobecki, and Edward (Jadwiga) Jedrzejowski. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her brothers Kazimierz, Stanislaw, Jacek (Anna), Jozef (Jadwiga), Andrzej (Teresa), Grzegorz, and Jerzy (Urszula). Visitation Sunday, July 20th, 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm with a 6:30 pm Rosary at the John N. Santeiu & Son Funeral Home. In state Monday 9:30 am until the 10 am Funeral Mass at Divine Child church in Dearborn. She will be laid to rest at St. Hedwig cemetery next to her loving husband, Rudolf.
