Services to celebrate the life of Kyla Henderson, 24, of Henderson, will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Bar None Cowboy Church with Freeman Pierce officiating, under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM on Friday, August 1, at the funeral home. Kyla passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on July 28, 2025, in Henderson, accompanied by her best buddy, Aubree. She was born November 25, 2000, in Longview, and has lived most of her life in Henderson with the exception of a few years in Kilgore. Kyla was a force to be reckoned with. She loved fiercely and was loyal to a fault. She loved dance, art, and music, loved to read, and was very intelligent and analytical. She went to Henderson ISD most of her life and was currently attending Kilgore College for Criminal Justice and Psychology. Above all, Kyla loved her daughter and wanted to be a great mom. She was a member of First Baptist Church Danville where she was saved and baptized. She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother Mildred Tillery, and grandfather Steve Crumley. Survivors include her parents, Kristin and Eli Eastwood of Henderson, and Joe and Lacey Henderson of Gilmer; grandparents, Darla Vigil of Henderson, J.T. Henderson of Kilgore, Stephanie and Ray Poole of Gilmer, Larry and Debbie Eastwood of Henderson, and Lorie Crumley of Gilmer; daughter, Darla Jo Henderson of Henderson; brothers, Tyler Edney of Henderson, Logan Henderson of Longview, Eli Henderson and wife Katie of Gilmer, and Gabe Henderson of Longview; bonus sister, Julia Edney and Courtney Arnold of Tyler; niece and nephews, Ava, Levi, and Ezra Edney, and Adler Henderson; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and many friends. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.crawfordacrim.com.
