On July 19th, the world lost an incredible man—a devoted husband, loving father, loyal friend, and truly one-of-a-kind soul. Kyle Elliott Eads, aged 36, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind his beloved wife Brittany Amber Lea, their cherished daughter, Aurora Eleanor Rose, and his faithful dog, Rupert.

Kyle's love for Brittany was unmistakable—deep, enduring, and visible to everyone who saw them together. They had known and loved each other since they were just 13 years old—two kindred souls who grew up side by side, built a life rich in laughter, resilience, and devotion. Married in a small English village in 2013, they returned often to the Lake District, where Kyle's love of nature found a home among the quiet hills and paths. Whether in Florida, Massachusetts, or Britain, he could name nearly every plant, tree or insect—and delighted in sharing that knowledge with those around him. He had an uncanny ability for finding shark teeth on the beach where others could find none.

Born and raised in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, Kyle was the treasured son of Tony and Rae (White) Trentacosta, who lovingly raised their children among the springs, rivers, and campgrounds of Florida. He earned his degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Central Florida and became a licensed Professional Engineer. In 2018, Kyle and Brittany made their home in Medford, Massachusetts, where he worked as an Environmental Health and Safety Officer in MIT's Environmental Management Program. He brought heart and a deep sense of purpose to his work—always ready to help, solve a problem, or lift spirits. He had no shortage of friends all across the Institute.

Kyle met the world with boundless energy, deep curiosity, and quiet generosity. He was always up for an adventure and had a way of making those around him feel supported and seen. Always on time, always a man of his word. You may have seen Kyle either out running or biking around Medford and the surrounding communities. On weekends, he enjoyed rising early with Rupert and riding the Green Line to stroll Boston Public Garden as the city was waking. He passed his early rising gift on to his daughter, often walking to the square together for donuts, without fail picking up a coffee to wake his sleeping wife. He was Aurora's biggest fan on the soccer field, and his Sunday morning adventures and games with friends were treasured moments.

Kyle is survived by his brother, James Walker Trentacosta, James's wife, Jordan, and their daughter, Harlow Elliott of Highland Ranch, CO. Kyle and James were constant companions throughout childhood, spending long afternoons casting fishing lines from their backyard dock. He was a loving grandson to Janet Trentacosta and the late Leonard Trentacosta of El Cajon, CA, and also a devoted son-in-law to Patricia Eads and her late husband, Harold. Kyle was the kind of man anyone could turn to—steady, kind, and true. He leaves behind a world that is better for having known him.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, August 2nd, from 10 to 11:30 AM in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a fund to ensure Aurora's education, online at the following address:
