Lara Mitchell Obituary
Lara Lynn (Argilla) Mitchell passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025 surrounded by family and friends. Lara dedicated her life to public service at the city of Lakewood, Arvada and Westminster as a 911 dispatcher and supervisor. She enjoyed knitting, reading, wood working, animals and cooking.
Lara is preceded in death by her father, Gabriel Argilla. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Mark Mitchell; daughter, Jennifer (Dominik) Corby; mother, Sylvia Argilla; brothers, Michael (Stacy Spence) Argilla and David (Laura) Argilla; grandson, Deklyn Corby; nieces and nephew, Fion Argilla & Ansel Argilla (David & Laura), Alexis (Michael & Stacy); multiple beloved in laws, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with as well as those she reached but never met.
