Lillian Donner-Jacobson Obituary

Lillian Donner-Jacobson, 93, of West Hartford, formerly of West Haven, died peacefully on May 12, 2025. She was born in 1931 in New Haven, CT, daughter of the late Louis Donner and Martha (Hershman) Donner. Family was Lillian's top priority, hosting wonderful large family gatherings many times a year (even in her 80's), and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved being a bookkeeper, reading books, especially mysteries, making greeting cards, art, classical music, and dogs. Being helpful was very important to her even in her 90's. A passion of hers was volunteering with hospice patients. Her heartfelt love will be remembered by all her family and friends. Lillian was predeceased by her loving husband Milton Jacobson, sister Harriet, son Robert, and grand-daughter Rachel. Lillian is survived by daughter Gale (Larry) Shapiro, son Gary (Linda) Jacobson, daughter-in-law Sandra Jacobson, nine grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law Ruth Jacobson. There will be a private funeral.
