Born in Potsdam, NY on May 19, 1950 to the late Clayton and Margaret Matthews Steinburg, Larry graduated from Norwood-Norfolk Central School, Class of 1968. Following high school, he served in the U.S. Air Force from 1968-1972. Larry married Stephanie J. LaValley and worked as a laborer for many years at ALCOA in Massena. Stephanie passed away just over a year ago on April 14, 2024. In his spare time, Larry enjoyed socializing with his family and friends and was an avid sports fan. He loved to watch the Yankees and Red Wings especially. Memories and condolences may be shared online at www.buckfuneralhome.com. The Buck Funeral Home in Norwood is serving the family of Larry G. Steinburg.
