Laura Factor, age 62, of Saunderstown, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. A devoted wife, nurturing mother, and proud grandmother, Laura was the heart and soul of her family and a beacon of kindness to all who knew her.
She leaves behind her beloved soulmate and husband, Tom Factor, with whom she shared a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering partnership. Laura was a devoted mother to James and his wife Ariel, Jackson and his wife Kate, and Shelby and her husband Ian. She was a cherished grandmother to two wonderful grandkids.
Laura embodied love in its purest form. She was always willing to lend a hand, share heartfelt advice, or simply be there with a listening ear. Her compassion, warmth, and generosity left a lasting impact on everyone she met. She was a woman of deep wisdom, quiet strength, and endless grace.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17 from 4:00 to 7 :00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick. A reception to follow the service at the Quonset O Club.
Laura's legacy lives on in the family she so dearly loved, in the lives she touched, and in the countless memories shared by those fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and lovingly remembered.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network)) in Laura's honor, to support ongoing research and patient support services.
