With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lauriano "Lauri" Chirinos, who left this world on July 12, 2025, at the age of 59 in Georgia. Born on May 24, 1966, in Honduras, Lauri brought warmth, joy, and a spirited energy to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Lauri was known for his love of life and his unwavering devotion to family. He found joy in the simple pleasures-dancing to lively music, cheering on his favorite sports teams, and sharing laughs and stories with loved ones. His humor was infectious, his energy unmatched, and his work ethic inspiring. Whether at work, at home, or on the dance floor, Lauri brought passion and positivity wherever he went.
He was a beloved father of 4, Cristian Chirinos, Andreina Chirinos, Fabiola Chirinos, Diane Chirinos, who stood faithfully by his side for 27 years. In his final chapter, Diane made the selfless decision to leave her job to care for him full-time. She was with him, holding his hand, as he took his last breath at the hospital-a true reflection of their deep bond and unbreakable love.
Lauri's legacy is one of laughter, resilience, and deep family connection. He leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories, countless stories, and a community that will never forget his vibrant spirit.
Family and friends are invited to honor Lauri's life at a visitation on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Wages & Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway Lawrenceville, GA 30046. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Wages & Sons Funeral Home, followed by the interment at Gwinnett Memorial Park.
