Lavinia Lowe, a radiant soul whose joyful spirit touched everyone she met, passed away on June 26, 2025, at the tender age of 10. Born on December 2, 2014, Lavinia was a sweet little girl who brought light into the lives of her family and friends. Her infectious laughter and vibrant personality turned the ordinary into extraordinary, making her the life of every gathering and the center of attention wherever she went.
Excitement filled Lavinia's heart as she prepared to begin fifth grade at Redcliffe Elementary School, where her love for learning was matched only by her passion for dance. Lavinia could often be found dancing until the last song played, her joy infectious, inspiring those around her to join in her celebration of life. She embodied an energy that was both captivating and comforting, leaving a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to cross her path.
Lavinia is survived by her devoted family. She was cherished by her father, Zachary Lowe, and her mother, Tambala Lowe, who were immensely proud of their sweet daughter. Lavinia was a loving sister to Ja’Mya Sims, Avah Lowe, and her brother, Zachary Dante Lowe, Jr. Her grandmothers, Rebecca (Dwight) Furlow and Anna Lowe, along with her great-grandmother, Rosa Lowe, lovingly embraced her, sharing precious moments that will forever remain etched in their hearts. Lavinia is also remembered fondly by her aunts, Mokina Furlow and Danielle Hall, and her uncles, Pierre Lowe and Shanard Lowe, along with other family members and friends who were lucky enough to experience her warmth and joy.
A visitation in Lavinia's honor will take place on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta, Georgia. Family and friends will gather for a heartfelt funeral service on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 2:30 PM at Chosen Church in Grovetown, followed by her interment at Bellevue Memorial Gardens & Chapel at 3:45 PM.

Her legacy will continue to resonate within the hearts of those who knew her, as they carry forward her spirit of joy and laughter. Though she has left this world too soon, her light will always shine brightly in the memories of her family and friends.
