Lawrence “Andy” Wilson,61, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson New York. Andy was born July 21, 1963 in Sharon, Connecticut to the late Lawrence “Larry” Albert Wilson and Frances (Siddell) Sarasin and grew up in Falls Village, Connecticut. He worked as a heavy mechanic for most of his life.However, he was a jack of all trades in life and could fix anything. Andy moved to Pine Plains, in 2005 where he raised his daughter Kristiana Wilson. He later moved to Catskill, New York.
He loved fishing and tinkering with his cars. He especially loved spending time with and sharing those hobbies with his daughter. Andy was a strong-minded, hardworking, tenacious and fearless man. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
Andy is survived by his devoted daughter, Kristiana Wilson, who was by his side every day while in the hospital. He leaves behind his dog and loyal companion, Patch. He is also survived by his siblings Frank Wilson, Jim Wilson, and Cheryl Terpening.
He was predeceased by his sister, Lorraine Wilson.
In honoring Andy’s wishes, no formal services will be held at this time. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Duchess County SPCA,636 Violet Ave., Hyde Park, NY 12538
