Lee Allen Charity, Jr. passed away under heartbreaking circumstances on July 3, 2025, at the age of 63. He was born on January 11, 1962. Lee's life was a remarkable testament to strength, talent, and unconditional love. He will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Lee was the beloved son of the late Allen Charity, Sr., and Judith Charity. He is survived by his loving children, Levi Charity, Kendall Charity (Christina), Asia Anderson, and two cherished grandchildren, Ava and Zoe Charity. He also leaves behind his devoted siblings: Donna Oyola (Anthony), Steven Charity, LaJuana Corp, Sharon Anderson, Bruce Charity (Evangeline), Keasia Smith (Kevin), and Roslyn Charity, along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who will forever hold his memory close.
A true entrepreneur at heart, Lee was known for his drive, determination, and ability to master any skill he set his mind to. Over the years, he wore many hats – lifeguard, certified diesel mechanic, MSP paint supervisor, carpenter, and a passionate cook. A true jack of all trades, Lee generously shared his talents and knowledge with those around him.
In his younger days, "Lil Lee" loved playing basketball, spending time with friends and family in Lafayette Shores and Ocean Air. Lee spent countless hours teaching his nieces and nephews how to swim. He found joy in the simple things: waking up to reggae music, dancing (often offbeat), and collecting just about everything. His warm spirit and ability to connect with anyone meant he never met a stranger.
Lee's legacy is one of resilience, generosity, and deep-rooted ambition. Though his physical presence is no longer with us, his spirit lives on in the lives he touched and the love he gave so freely.
Rest in peace, Lee. You are forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
