Leedell Derryberry, age 91 passed away Saturday July 26, 2025 at her home in Darden, TN.

She has been a faithful member of Corinth Baptist Church for 80 years, prior to her death, she was the oldest living member. She has served on various committees through the years and taught Sunday School for at least 25 years. She served along with her husband on the Corinth Cemetery committee where she was the treasurer. She and her husband operated Derryberry Feeders Pigs for many years. She loved to garden in her yard and raise flowers of all sorts. She was also a huge asset to Darden Community Center where she assisted in making fried pies to raise money for the facilities at the Darden Park. If you spoke to her in person she was always telling you about Jesus. She thought that was the most important work of all. She loved her family and her church family.

She is survived by her children, Ronald (Pam) Derryberry of Darden, TN and Carol (Ray) Morris of Parsons, TN. Her grandchildren, Brad (Tabitha) Derryberry, Gina (Chad ) Pratt, Wade (Melissa) Derryberry, Jennifer (Billy) Potts, Jason (Dewana) Derryberry, Janie (Brandon) Autry, Clint (Mindy) Morris, P.R. (Amanda) Morris. Her great grandchildren, Madison Potts, Jacob (Jenna) Potts, Maddox Derryberry, Maeley (Braden) Myracle, Baileigh (Quinn) Frost, Ansley and Whitlee Pratt, Chase and Cale (Leslie) Rushing, Cooper Autry, Lee, Kinley, Lilly, Lane (Brilynn), Will (Skylar), Gill (Kamryn) Derryberry and Casey (Jordan) Tullar, Case and Addi Kate Morris and her great- great grandchildren, Parker Frost, James and Robin Tullar, Georgia, Henry, Leanna and John Luke Derryberry and soon to arrive, Bode Myracle. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her mother and father, Hulie and Lizzie Duke Reeves, her husband of more than 60+ years, Joe Henry Derryberry, a son, Donald Derryberry, her brothers, James, O.V. , L.C. and Jerry Reeves, and her sisters, Raymelle Roberts and Virginia Lewis and a great grandson, Kevin Wade Derryberry.

Funeral Services will be held at Corinth Baptist Church 1350 Corinth Rd. Darden , TN at 1 PM Monday, July 28, 2025 with Bro. Don Franks and Bro. Micah Renfroe officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery. Visitation will be at Corinth Baptist Church from 2 PM until 8 PM Sunday and Monday from 9 AM until service hour.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Corinth Cemetery Fund c/o Dwight Hendrix 380 Corinth Rd Darden, TN 38328.
