Lenore passed away peacefully in her home on October 30, 2024 at the age of 56. Lenore Faith Stafford was born in Garretson, SD on 6.18.68. She grew up in Sherman, SD. She attended school in Garretson and graduated from Garretson High School.
Lenore later married Robert Earl Stafford. They both worked at Bell Box, which is how they met. They were blessed with two children, Brandon and Brianna. They made Sioux Falls their home.
Lenore dedicated her life to teaching children and worked at daycares in the Sioux Falls Area. She had a special talent for nurturing and caring for young kids. Lenore enjoyed spending her time at the dirt track with having memories as young as 3 years old. She also had fond memories of her horse, Babe. She also loved spending time with her children and attending all of their activities.
Lenore is survived by her two children: Brandon (Amanda) Stafford, Sioux Falls, SD and Brianna (Robert) Stafford, Brandon, SD and one grandson, Odin Stafford. Two sisters Lois Goodwin and Lorie Straw.
Lenore is preceded in death by her husband Robert Earl Stafford, her parents Frank Straw and Darlene (Van Ningen) DeBuhr, sisters Lillette Millman, Louise Jenson, and brother Loren Straw.
Visitation will be Nov. 6th at Chapel Hill from 5-8 pm
